Figured it was about time I joined this great forum.

I've been detailing more and more vehicles lately and since I'm currently unemployed I figured this might be a great place to ask technical questions and possibly get a new career underway.

Being in MA only allows for outside detailing from say April to October. I guess I'd have to lease a garage if I wanted to continue into the winter.

For those of you who have started a detailing business, any tips or advice you could lend to a newbie?

I'm no stranger to message boards. Having been on The Corral, LS1.com, LS2.com, LS1Tech.com, Performance Years Forums and a few others some might recognize my username.

I live in SE Massachusetts and was formerly employed by Gillette/P&G. My passion though is cars. I'd like a 2nd career somewhere in the automotive industry. Since I'm decent detailing cars I figured why not give it a shot.

Thanks and looking forward to learning as much as I can from the masters in the business.

Welcome and toughen up. Mass detailing season is late March-first snowfall.

Bobby, no kidding. What year did you leave and where did you work at?
