We just need to have a Michigan detail event! So many Michiganders joining this site:dblthumb2:

Yes, you would need 5.5" pads.

Many people starting out are often directed toward the Orange, White, and black flats, or ccs lines, and for good reason. They work very well, and are durable. They can take a beating.

Buff and Shine is another option. Same colors too - Orange, White, and Black. B&S are also really nice.
Should I order one of each of the orange, white, and black in cc and bs?

hi new member from Lake City Mich I love to detail and love cars. Just bought a chevy Silverado high country diamond pearl color. just woundering about taking it to car shows what do you think

Hard to say. I like both lines equally. You could do that though. It should give you a good idea of what you'd like to expand on. The Buff and Shine have a reputation for extreme durability and laser precision, solid construction. Lake Country has a legacy of impeccable customer service, proven performance, and innovative foams.

So potential pad list let me know what you think!

Lake country 5.5 inch ccs pads 6 pack product code LC-55-combo:

1 yellow pad, 2 pads in orange, 2 pads white, and 1 gray pad

Lake Country 5 1/2 inch flat pads 6 pack product code LC- 75-6 pads

2 orange pads, 2 white, 2 black.

Am I going way overboard? I need guidance lol I'm trying to take advantage of the bundle discounts and promo code.

No, that's good. Too many people start out wanting to use one pad per step, when it's more efficient to use more. Whatever way you go with those, get two of a kind. Two orange, two white, two grey. I personally like the ccs series. I haven't seen any hindering performance issues with them. The only flat pads I have are the Hydrotech pads.

I appreciate the guidance!!! I am just getting started. Are the flat pads I selected the hydrotech?

Ok I'll go with the hydrotech

They are really nice!

Some people report short life spans for the Cyan pads, but I haven't seen for myself. So far mine are holding up well.
