Hi everyone i just started looking into doing more then over the counter detailing and this site is great thanks everyone. I have 01 Jetta that is clean most of the time. Anyone have a good tip for a first timer. Thanks Josh

welcome!!! hmm a tip. there are plenty of 'tips' on this website.

I will go with something specific to your car: Be gentle on the interior bits. MKIV VW's have a great interior but all those soft to the touch materials on the doors, dash, center stack etc are all prone to peeling and scratching. At this point, you may already be aware of that so avoid strong cleaners or letting any interior chemicals sit for too long as they may contribute to this peeling even more.
