Hello fellow members ! I decided to join this forum to express my thanks to AG and especially Mike Phillips.
Mike, I really enjoyed your videos I found on youtube . They were quite informative and gave me the confidence to detail my truck ! I have an 09 Tacoma and it was due time to give it some TLC .
I ordered a PC buffer and pads from AG and bought polish and wax at my local store . There were swirl marks everywhere on my truck , and especially the hood . I had to use Meguiars Ult Compound to remove the scratches and was able to remove 98% . Not bad for my first try !
I started out really taking my time , but had to rush a tad towards the end . Murphy said it would rain the next day !!
My truck looks GREAT !! If it was not for a few scratches , better than new !! I took some before and after pics that I will post here at a later date . I look forward to getting some tips from fellow members and must say , there are some AWESOME looking cars out there !!!
