What's up guys. ive been creeping around the site for tips and tricks and found alot of useful info from around the forums. so finally i decided to join. im not new to detailing but consider myself a little old school if u would say. for the last 10 years ive been doing all my work with a makita rotary polisher and 3m perfect it 2 products. i work at a body shop as an all round tech from estimates to painting and my detail business is growing. i need some help on a few items and products to save my shoulder. i already purchased a porter cable 7424xp with 5 inch plate and lake country ccs pads. what i need to know is what pads are best for finish polishing, wax/sealant application, and removal. also a good all in one polish/glaze and swirl remover. i still plan on using the makita for the bulk of my compound and polishing since im accustomed and efficient with it, but i get the occasional hologram and would like to start using the porter cable to help eliminate that. i havent had much experience using an orbital for polishing besides the one or two times our supplier demoed them at the shop. thanks for the help and info
