Hello all, my name's Anson Craig. My father has owned a carpet cleaning biz my whole life that I'm always working for. I've been detailing friends and family cars since I was 14. worked at dealers and detail shops out of high school doing mechanic and detail work. A collision shop for 2 years. I've been doing personal cars on the side for years. tired of working for Pennies in production shops for years, getting headaches from not doing proper work b/c full details needed done in 3 hours max, this year I decided to get my business license and insurance, and start advertising and marketing. I've def been lurking for awhile. Great info on here.

Welcome! Great to have you aboard! With your Dad in the extraction business, you could most definitely get new clients for auto detailing! People who like a clean house also like a clean car!
 
Johnstown, Cambria county. Yeah my fathers customers become mine very often and mine his. Professional carpet cleaning has definitely given me an edge as far as interior cleaning goes too. My father uses extraction but specializes in low moisture encapsulation, which also works great for interiors.

I've not read anything on here about low moisture cleaning really. Has anyone tried it?

very cool pro4x, nice to meet you online. Johnstown isn't exactly the easiest place to keep a vehicle clean unfortunately lol
 
no doubt. lol. winters do suck here. the crap they put on the roads should be outlawed! the little cinders that crack windshields and chip paint. i detailed sunday. 60 degrees was insane for here. did not stay clean long.... wow, its freezing tonight!
 
yep it's terrible, ive been so busy i was just able to get my winter wax on my truck this weekend, one trip around town and it needs a full wash already. i travel in my fathers company car on 219 several days a week, im always touching chips up on the front it seems
 
lol. same here. 219 everyday for work. it gets old. thank god i am on vacation till the 2nd!!!

Haven't heard but a mention or two of it. It'd be awesome if you'd share some stuff with us about it.
