Hey finally made an account. Ive been using this forum ever since I bought my porter cable 7424xp. Big fan!

Recently I ran into somewhat of a problem. The car is a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse tampa pearl blue. I know the car has been repainted before due to overspray. So after trying multiple attempts to clean up some light swirls and scratches from improper washing and drying I noticed nothing I do makes a difference on this car. Even the lightest of swirls don't want to come out. Ive worked with many bmw clear coats and I thought those were hard.... this is a nightmare. any ideas, tips, and tricks would help.

products I use are:
pc7424xp
chemical guys v32
meguiars m105
foam yellow and orange pads

Thanks in advance guys!

Welcome. Can't help with the issue you're having but hopefully some of the experts here will have some useful tips.

Welcome to autogeek, you may have to invest into microfiber cutting pads, and some Menzerna fg400/sf4000/4500 though test spot is key
