Hi everyone. Joined up to increase my knowledge on detailing. Work as an auto mechanic/parts sales during the day, own a side business restoring cars. It's out of my garage, but I have access to my day job's shop after hours and on weekends as well. I'm also a member of the National Guard and a city councilman in a small down. Certified personal trainer as well, but I don't do much of that anymore as my priorities are more automotive related. Married with 2 sons, 1 of which is only 3 days old. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's a brief run down of who I am. I hope to learn as much as possible from the forums and, someday, attend some of the classes.

Thanks for reading, Mitch

P.S. Here's the garage

Hi Mitch,

:welcome: to Autogeek forum.

Welcome to auto geek....great looking shop you got there

Welcome aboard!

First off thank you for your service! Now, does a car larger than a MINI fit in there, LOL?

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

I don't have a pic of the car in the garage, but here is the car that goes in the garage.

Not large! It is much more torn apart than that now. It's a Datsun 2000 I'm restoring for my mother-in-law. The engine was apart in boxes, it was like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Have replaced 98% of the rust, just now stripping off all the old paint to get some primer and bodywork going.

Mankato, eh? I was up there 2 weeks ago for a Guard drill picking up some crushed rock (can't remember the real name) for a baseball field project we are helping out with.

:welcome: To Autogeek Online Mitch! :props:

It should be forbidden for any new member to have such a gorgeous garage complete with a racing floor covering.....I love it! :props:

Nice intro Mitch!

Thanks everyone!

The car will be HOK Platinum Pearl when it is finished.
