Hi all, My names Don and Im a cleanaholic!

Ive been messing with cars for over 20 years, was an MECP certified installer of mobile electronics for about 8 of that. I went to RITOP mobile electronics school in MA when I got out of the Marines. I spent 5 years in the Marines before that. Since then I worked at a HUGE company that makes copiers and June of 2012 I was laid off from there. Thats when I started thinking I need to start working on detailing cars as more than a hobby. I have since found new employment and start Monday 9/17, lucky for my new venture it is night work meaning I can detail during the day hours.

Think thats enough about me for now, cant wait to get to know you all.

PS: Big Meguiars fan, love Griots too. Kinda new to the proffessional lines that are discussed on here but already learning ALOT.

Tim: East of Rochester, NY. Familiar with the area? I was in the USMC in Jacksonville, NC (Camp LeJeune) and I LOVE IT IN NC!!!! Hope to someday return there for retirement.

Welcome, Binghamton, NY Here! Actually Apalachin, NY about ten miles west of Bingo but nobody knows were that is. Good Luck!
 
Welcome to the board... originally from Syracuse here, but stationed in Norfolk Va. with the U.S. Navy as a field service enginner on shore duty. 16 years as a Submarine Navigation Electronics Technician in here end of next month, 4 more to go and they pay me for life.
 
Hi Don, welcome to AGO from the Central PA area. I'll be taking a trip up to Upstate NY (Watertown) for Thanksgiving. I love it up there, simply beautiful, especially in the fall season!!

Yup! I have learned so much here since I joined up about 4.5 years ago! I am not always super active here, but this is by far my favorite detailing forum :)

Yep....was born and raised in the Elmira/Corning area.

Been in NC for 16 years now.

Yeah your pretty close. Im actually from Williamson...Wayne County as you all know it better!! Funny that when I tell people from places like Pittsford/Brighton they all say "HUH" when I say Williamson but if I say Wayne County they think they got a pin point on me! LOL
