I own a fixed location shop as well as a small mobile unit.
Pride in my work is my #1 satisfaction and my business motto is "Stay in front of the customers" which means this - If you have contact with a potential client and have their info, FOLLOW UP. No you don't have to be a pain but a simple call or email (preferably with a special offer). Every contact is a potential client so hand out your cards, flyers or brochures and if you have dealership contacts do not let them forget about you. During the winter my dealerships are my bread and butter. I run a shop and mobile, so needless to say I do have expenses but my dealerships have kept me well afloat.
I love what I do and I love being my own boss. I am never going to say I know it all and yes even after 14 years I still make a mistake here and there but I learn from it.
