Hello everyone,
My name is Ylli, ive been refering to the AGO forum for all my detailing needs for a while, and now ive finally joined the forum hopefully to become an avtive member to the community, share my 2 cents and learn from all of you as much as i can.
My background with respect to detailing began in Allentown PA , where i ran an auto collision shop, and implemented a rather succesful detailing department. When i started i was a detailing enthusiast and soon learned that there is a science that reqired a lot of learning and perfecting to become a professional and profitable operation. At the collision shop the detailing was a supplement and a great way to bring costumers in for something other then collision repair ( where customers are agetated or frustrated having had a b"ad day").
Fast forward to today, i have now moved to Switzerland, currently not working in automotive, but am gearing up to bring a mobile detailing service to Lausanne Switzerland.
Things that i am working on ironing out:
- Quality production process
- optimum pricing
- * mobility w/o use of customers water or electricity
- waterless and steam process with quality and quantity in mind.
besides the technical challenges, being new to this country am still learning the language (French) and therefore my marketing and advertising is a challenge in a whole new level.
Im passiante about auto detailing, and i believe that i can bring a new perspective to the indystry in Swiss, and can create a profitable business for myself that can hopefully grow rapidly. Ok enough rambling ,, cant wait to meet everyone and learn from the experienced detailirs around the country... Cheers
