Thanks for the offer! I can always use more tips and advice. Maybe some time this summer if my job loosens the noose on me, I might have to take you up on that offer. As for now, i'm working 12 hour days monday through friday and have 2 kids under 2 years old.
I think my biggest problem is my washing technique. After i did my clay and polishing, i couldn't see any scratches or swirls whatsoever. With spot lights, zenon bulbs, in the sunlight, etc.... no scratches anywhere. Now after i washed my car, i have scratches everywhere. And they are all in straight lines, which is how i washed my car. I used a chenille mitt from advance auto because i thought they were safe. Either it had little bits of sand in the mitt or I need to improve my washing techniques/skills. I even used the 2 bucket method with grit guards and new clean MF towels to dry.
A leaf blower can help for drying by getting most of the water off the car and then follow up with a guzzler waffle weave to remove the leftover water, which shouldn't be much.
