Hello all, I am a new member from the east coast of North Carolina. Not a pro detailer, just an enthusiast that enjoys the looks I get from others when my car is clean and sparkly.
I have enjoyed reading the forums and look forward to much great info. I have three vehicles, a 1998 Chevy c1500 truck (emerald green), a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser (bright silver metallic) and a 2007 Suzuki SX4 (Silver). I keep all three pretty clean, and want all of them to have a deep shine.

Thats good because I already need it. I am looking for a combo or kit that I can use on all three cars, one dark green and two silver. Would really rather not have to use two different set ups. I do have a PC 7424.
That being said, what does anyone think of the XMT intermediate swirl remover kit, and what final wax would you use with it?
Thanks, and pardon the newbie questions.

Welcome to AG bud!

-A lot of people have had good luck with the XMT line. I have some, but I always reach for my Optimum or Menzerna first. Just personal preference.
-As for wax, I would recommend Pinnacle Sig Series II or DP MaxWax. Those two nauba's are my personal favorites, and both are super easy to work with. DG 105 is also a great choice.

Thanks to both of you, I will look at the Menzerna line and see what I might be able to get.

Welcome to the site, we will help you out, ask away!

Thanks to all. I decided to give the XMT a try and top it off with XMT 180. Will let you know what I think.

hello, and welcome. Plenty to read and learn for newbies like myself...

Well, I ordered and received the XMT kit and today used it on my '04 PT Cruiser. I was very pleased with the results. Silver does not always show the results of your work, but it sure did this time.

Gonna do the wifes 07 SX4 next Saturday and then tackle the 98 C1500 the following Saturday.
