Hello. Thanks for the add. So much valuable info that its almost overwhelming. Not looking to create a buisness but take care my black 2006 Z06 corvette. Starting from scratch (lol) so I qualify as a complete newb. Looking at the Groit kits to clean up my paint. Not a resurrection, just typical swirl removal, sealant and wax. Looking forward to learning the process. Please be patient. Just trying to teach this old dog a few new tricks.

I'm like you. Just trying to keep my car up and looking for the most efficient way to do it. I like the Garry Dean method for washing. I think a mechanized Dual Action polisher is essential if you are trying to get rid of swirls.

Clay bar just isn't that big of a deal if your car's finish is in good condition.

Product lists are overwhelming, but you know what? Pretty soon you find out what is "very good" and cost-effective. The difference between "very good" and "best" is infinitesimal. A lot of this stuff is going mainstream. I saw a packet of 15 middle-class looking microfiber towels at Wal-Mart for $10 bucks. Clay can be bought anywhere these days.
