Hi all, my name is Kevin and I am from SE Missouri. I have used products purchased from AG for several years but never registered for the forum or took advantage of it until now. I would like to thank all the forum members for the amount of knowledge displayed and shared here as I have learned a great deal. I have an 06 Mercedes E350 (flint grey) and an 07 LaCrosse (black).

Hi welcome to AG. We just love to see pics, post'em when you can. :)

Pics of the E350 and the LaCrosse CXS

Detailed the Benz and the LaCrosse Saturday and as dry as it has been here they are already dusty so please be gentle in your critiques Im the MAN.

The Benz was started off with a p21s wash, followed by claying on hood, trunk, top (all flat horizontal surfaces). Time unfortunately did not allow me to clay fenders etc. I re-washed followed by 2 coats of AIO, allowing about 8 hrs between first and second coat. Next 2 coats of SHGS with about 16 hrs between 1rst and 2nd application. LSP was p21s wax. The wheels were done with DP gel wheel cleaner and DP wheel glaze.

I bought the LaCrosse last Wednesday and got a really good deal. The car has only 9,800 miles on it. The reason for the good deal was because someone (with obvious good intentions) had run amuck on the clear coat with a circular polisher. Swirl marks were in the clearcoat but I was pretty sure I could either get them out totally or almost totally.

I got out the PC and a tube of Scratch X and went to work. After 3 passes the swirls were gone. I put on 2 applications of AIO and 1 application of SHGS. Wheels were done the same as with the Benz. I am not finished completely and sorry I dont have better pictures (closeups in proper lighting), but I think the car is going to look very good.

This is my first attempt at posting pics, so I hope I did it correctly. I appreciate feedback from you all.

Thanks,
Kevin
