Hello, my name is Anthony and I am 21 years old. I have been working on and cleaning cars for as long as I can remember. I am a certified firefighter/paramedic but am currently trying to find a job in the field with a local fire department. I have been a mechanic (by trade) for 5 years and I own my own mobile detailing business on the side. I have a 5x8 trailer with 100gal water tank, a 5.5hp honda pressure washer and a vacuum and generator with all the buffers and polishers along with all the supplies i could need. I just started the business so I am still learning the ins and outs of car detailing.
My Company is called Firehouse Mobile Detailing (DBA), located in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County Florida. I am really determined to succeed as an auto detailer and plan on spending lots of time reading on this site. I own a 2007 Chevy Cobalt ss Supercharged stage 2 but am trying to sell it ad find a truck to pull my rig.

Now Anthony, surely at age 21 your memory isn't that bad. Wait till you hit your 40's!

BTW, I had that same door cling and business card to match from Vista Print. Then when I ran into ANOTHER detailer in town who had the same card!!! I had to design my own.

When we start our classes back up in 2010 you should try to attend one since you're close by, they're a lot of fun and hopefully you'll pick up a tip or two that will help you out.

Hey Mike, I definately 100% plan on attending one of your classes, hopefully the next one you offer will fit into my schedule. I advertise at body shops and mechanic shops in the area, along with paying my brother to pass out fliers on cars every once in awhile.

i also do aluminum polishing, taking something that has a rough surface to cutting it down and polishing it like a mirror.
