New member from Georgia. Stumbled on the site by accident this weekend and have been reading the threads since. So much good information. Ordered a porter cable 7424xp today to get started on my own vehicle. I don't have pictures yet but want to get some expert opinions on a 1988 Ford F150 my father in law left to my wife. He kept it in very good condition but it wasn't operated for 2 years while he was sick and then it sat out in the weather at a repair garage for over a year. The weather gets very hot here in south georgia. The paint is faded and there are some scratches. Generally speaking what would the best plan of action to get the paint looking better. Thanks for your replies.
