New Microfiber Towels

Even moist the towels didn't seem to pick up nearly as much water as I was expecting. Maybe they'll improve after a wash, they may have some residue on them from when they were made that is preventing a good absorption. For now though I'm glad I only picked up 2.

I was thinking about trying that. It just seems like its kind of a hassle to have to soak a towel before you can use it. But atleast the towels aren't going to waste if that works...
some times you need to adjust the way you do things to make a job easier

HMMMM, after reading this thread, I dont think I am as out of my mind as I thought.

I have 2 different styles of WW MF towels. 2 of each kind. Both WW's are the same color, but with different color borders. I however, cant remember which one I got from where. They are both light blue, one has a dark blue border, the other a light blue border. I was thinking I got the light blue border free from AG as a giveaway from so much of a purchase one month, but cant remember. Whatever the case, the light blue bordered ones work about 1000 times better then the dark blue ones, even though they have been washed and treated the same since new. I dont know.

I wish I could remember where I got the light blue border ones from, cause I would stock up on those.

I have bought blue waffle weave towels 3 different times from 3 different suppliers. I was very happy with the first 2 batches but by the time it came time to order the 3rd batch I had gone exlusively to Autogeek for my detailing supplies (Due to my wonderfull past experiences and customer service). This last batch of 3 I bought from AG and these posts are absolutely right! I am sorry to say these towels are terrible and I probably won't buy any more waffle weave towels from AG. I was extremely surprised. It doesn't even feel the same. When I washed all my waffle weaves together in the machine I pulled out my other ones and they were "normal" but when I pulled out the one with red trim from AG it was barely even wet! Really weird... It just doesn't absorb! I only use Microfiber rejuvinator when I wash them... No fabric softener or anything. I've been planning to call and return these. I don't know what % are like this but I would highly recomend AG return these to the supplier and get different waffle weaves.
Terribly sorry to be so blunt but if anybody else is getting the same towels that I just did this will only turn customers off. For those that are new to waffle weaves do not give up. Most waffle weaves are great! I should add that I did pay about 3$-6$ more per towel for those 2 batches of towels that I loved... full disclosure...

Autogeek offers a no hassle return policy, I suggest calling in tomorrow and speaking with Meghan or Dwayne. Sure it will be handled quickly and efficiently.

Thank you! I figured that would be the case. Autogeek customer service is always top notch!

i plan on calling tommrow about the towels. has anyone found out anything about the red bordered ones?

I picked up some blue drying towels about a month ago during the BOGO. I thought they were total duds, but after maybe 5 washes and some deliberate rough handling they came to life. I'm happy!
