new microfiber towels

can i start using new microfiber towels right away or do i need to wash them first? tia.
 
They should be washed first. They could have dirt and such on them from the manufacturing process, the warehouse and then shipping.
Better safe than sorry
 
I use new ones right away.. Mf gets rougher after each wash.. Dont want to waste the first hand softness..

:iagree:I always wash them first, in fact PakShak towels come with a paper that says to wash them first. Not sure about cobra.

If you use a good microfiber detergent your towels should not be getting rough. I have some PakShak towels that have been wash 25 times and you can't tell the difference between them and a brand new one.
 
Always wash before using the first time.

My MF towels always feel rougher after a wash if I don't put some white vinegar into the rinse cycle, as long as I do that they seem to come out just as soft.

I agree though, they always seem the softest right when you get them.
 
What detergent is recommended for mf? I use cheer and some white distilled vinegar in the rinse cycle.
 
I was going to buy some stuff online but I read about the vinegar and I've been happy with it.
 
I like Chemical guys MF detergent, smells good too.
 
I've seen that one. It leaves them nice and soft? Might have to try it.
 
It's good stuff smells better then any of the other ones I've used. Leaves MFs very clean and soft.
 
thanks guys. i bought detergent that's made for microfiber towels so i'll give them a quick wash first.
 
I'm always looking to try new products. I'm going to order some on my next order.
 
The DP product. I've had really good luck with the stuff ago sells.
 
I've used pinnacle but not the DP maybe I'll try it.
