I've been working out of my truck for the last year. Wanting to replace it with something that gets better fuel milage and way less miles on it. Will need a vehicle that lends itself to double duty since I'm a soccer dad and family man. Found a Dodge Magnum with the 3.5 V6. I use ONR on almost every vehicle so I don't need much water. A 25 gallon tank that will fit nicely along with my generator, vacuum and cleaning supplies. Extractor and chemicals fit in the back seat easy enough. Ladder is a little problematic but doable.

Anyway, has anybody worked out of a Magnum before? Any pics, suggestions, etc......? Thanks

It looks a lot like this one. Will be easy to add some lettering to the rear hatch and rear sides for some advertising.

ive never really looked into dodge magnums, but as a "station wagon" im not sure that itll be enough room for all your things, especially if you'll be having a 25 gallon tank and a generator; both things that use up a lot of space. i think a minivan might be in order here. im assuming since youre a MALE you dont want to go the minivan route, how about an suv/pickup and a closed trailer? maybe you could even get a hitch for that dodge magnum and use a trailer if you need to.

ive detailed out of a 99 honda civic for little bit, so i guess anythings possible! haha. i did not have a generator or water though.

I think you will have plenty of room. I fit everything in my camry but you will certainly be able to fit more in the Magnum. Never detailed out of them but I have detailed the car and they are spacious inside if you fold the seats down.

If you need more room you can install a hitch and add a cargo rack. One solution to the ladder would be do some research on a roof rack. You might be able to find a heavy duty roof rack in which you can tie up the ladder on the roof.

The HHR panel is a great car as well too, that would be my dream detail car since I have seen some put full on mobile systems in their cars. :dblthumb2:

I might add a small trailer to my arsenal. Not a big fan of roof racks or HHRs.

Do you use a folding / telescoping ladder? You can get a Werner or Gorilla at Lowes, HD. Of course there is the rather expensive Little Giant.
One of many available: 13 ft. Aluminum Telescoping Multi Ladder

That is the exact ladder I use. Was on sale for $79 last year when I purchased.

I have a number of customers that I service where they work. No water or electricty is available in the middle of a parking lot. ONR has helped alot with cutting down on the quantitly I needed and used. I'm building my own detailing caddy. Having said that I will likely end up with a small trailer for those few customers that I need the extra water for. I can just reuse my 55 gallon tank and set the generator on the trailer.

I have a few options on my setup. Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it.
