I have an 07 Dodge Ram QC LB SLT in Patriot Blue Pearl and I am obsessed about it. This winter is killing me. My only hope is I did right to it before the winter set in. I had Ziebart undercoat it. I applied multiple coats of Zaino polish and 2 coats of the Zaino Clear Seal followed by a coat of Nu-Finish. Until I started reading more here at Autogeek, it was my understanding that if a wax becomes soft when heated then why put it on my truck when it sits outside the surface temperature reaches as high as 126 degrees. This was measured with an infrared thermometer. I am going to start waxing this year.
I would like to thank all of you for sharing your ideas and experiences.
I will post pictures of my truck soon. Again thanks to all of you.
Shane

Welcome.

The Zaino is a good product and your finish should be protected. IMHO the Nu-Finish was not needed.

Welcome to the forum, I am from NJ as well. Zaino Z-2 and Zaino Z-CS both offer oustanding durability on their own. I can't speak for Nu-Finish's durability, but I'm sure you have more than enough protection to last you the entire winter and then some.
