I think everything is fine. I can't speak to durability yet. I put a 2nd coat on today. I think a more thorough panel wipe is what made the difference.

The only reason I've avoided a true coating is because I enjoy messing with these spray sealants. I'm getting closer though to trying a coating and will likely at some point.
 
Last time you killed it, how did it bead during the pre spray? Was it already flat then?
 
My question is why are you washing it so fast?

I would give it a little longer to have the polymers and whatever little ceramic in it to cure a bit before washing it. A second layer with a spray sealant is not really needed.
 
After this layer I’m going to let it go for a while.
