The thing is though, this still does not solve the issue...why are the Edge 2000 pads that I own (same goes for Rsurfer..I think) doing what they are doing? I first thought it was normal but I don't think it is anymore. Please don't take what I'm saying the wrong way, I still believe that the Edge pads are good but just want to know why they are doing what they are doing.
 
I'm still following this thread because today I purchased a PC and polishes. I'm still on hold regarding, which pads to purchase (Edge 2k 6" vs Lake County 6.5"). If one of you decide to throw in the towel and buy the other that could gives us the answer. How about starting a new thread title "Does your Edge 2K pads rotate when pressure is applied to the PC" , mention in the thread how only one pad works under pressure and the others don't.
 
I think some of you are misunderstanding, like Scott said the PC rotates off-axis, it doesn't spin like a rotary. Basically the whole pad is moving off axis in a circle and doesn't actually spin much itself.
