We have had this cabinet type thing in our family for probably more than 40 years, and with a brand new polisher and an impending snow storm on the way it was the only thing I could find to test my new polisher out with.
So what I did was wash with Poorboy’s APC
Clay with clay magic red
2- 10 minute passes with Meg’s #105 using KB method and a LC orange pad
1-10 minute pass each using
PB SSR 2.5 LC orange pad
PB SSR 2 Cyclo blue polish pad
PB SSR 1 Cyclo blue polish pad
PB Pro Polish Cyclo white finish pad
Applied 1 coat of PB wheel sealant

I have got to say that this new Meguiars polisher is a supreme machine.

While it is a bit heavy, it is a very well built polisher. It feels good in every way. It has TONS of power!!

I was really pressing hard on it to see if I could stop the rotation while messing around polishing this container thing, The rotation wouldn't stop as long as I kept the pad flat, no matter how hard I pushed on it.

It is actually pretty quiet too. I could really feel the feedback circuitry kick in and the torque increase when i applied pressure to it. I believe the machine has enough weight so that no real amount of pressure would need to be applied to get some really good corection.

This machine comes with a very high quality nylon bag too.

My hands usually go numb within 10 minutes while using a PC and I polished on this test subject for about an hour total with no problems so I would say that the G110 V2 is a pretty comfortable machine with very little vibration.

I believe this is going to be my new go to machine, bumping the rotary into 2nd place.

Overall this machine IMO gets a 10!!

Dave,

Wow! Great 50-50 shot. Can't wait to see a pic of the completed cabinet.

Glad you are happy with the G110v2. I will be giving mine it's first test on my Camry starting the day after Christmas.

:)

I was thinking again,:idea:and thought i might test my newly modified Griot's gen 1, 3inch polisher on the other half of the top of this cabinet. I jumped out the bad speed control circuit, making it full speed only.
