Brand new Porsche that needed some protection.
It's a lease so he opted for a wax instead of a coating so I choice Meguiar's New Black Wax to give this beauty the shine and glow it needed.

Waterless Washed, lightly clayed then BW and a Soft Buff Pad on my Flex.
Washed the rims with Wheel Brightener and then coated them with Break Dust Barrier so in the future they will clean up easy.

The Before Pics.

The car wasn't in bad shape at all. It had a few spider webs but that was about it.

Here you can see the "no attention to detail" from the "dealer prep"

The rims were caked with break dust and dirt. They were in desperate need of a good cleaning and more importantly PROTECTION.

All set up with my new van. It looks good but still not good enough.

All the plastic trim that would be touched by my pad and wax was taped off.

My weapons of choice. Red Flex, Yellow Pad & Black Wax

All waxed up

And the finished product. It still needs some more love to remove all the spider webs but my customer love it and that's all that counts.

Very nice outcome from using just an AIO/Cleaner-Wax! :props:

Did the black wax correct the paint at all? That tube it comes in looks like it would be a pain to squeeze out.

Not really.
The correction ability on the 5 cars I've done with BW was minimal. If you want more correction then Meg's White Wax would be a better choice. It has more abrasives/cleaners then the BW.
And yes you can use WW on black. These waxes don't have any pigments in them so it doesn't matter what color the paint is.

The tube isn't a pain to use at all.

nice job, how long did the whole car take you from start till finish?

Is this BW/WW similar to D151?

Wax time was about an hour. I was on location for 5 hours.

Nice job! How much of a tube is used on average size vehicle?

This is the fifth car I've used out of one tube and I expect I can get another 3-4 more out of 1 tube.
I always try to use the lease amount of product. BW is very oily so it goes along way.

Nice work on the 991 for sure but man the 911 is getting big, LOL! In some of the pics it almost looks like you see some purple in the paint, was there some there? Its kinda like the EVO X in black, you get ontop of it and its a brown metallic but start walking away and you see black. I also like how the wheels look on that car too, they cleaned up very well!

I didn't see the purple when I was actually looking at the car.
It's just the camera?

This 911 was a little bigger then one from the 80's I did a few months back, but not by much.

the bw made the car look wet, i like that in a wax. i might try this on my grand national.

Hope to see pics of that, as a former GN owner I look forward to any thread that says GRAND NATIONAL in it!
