New product suggestion: calendars

Got to thinking about this the other day. I think Autogeek should make and offer calendars for sale. They're not terribly expensive, there's so much you can do as far as pictures, they make great gifts, you can keep one in the garage, in the house, in the office, wherever you want to show your Autogeek support. Maybe keep the price tag at about $10 or so (which is about what I usually pay for a calendar). I mean, if you're going to look at it for a whole year, might as well be a good one, right? Let me and Autogeek know what you think! :xyxthumbs:
 
You young guys ;) ...Autogeek beat you to the punch on this, they were giving away calendars a couple of years ago with the Christmas-time orders.

Yeah, well, they're not offering calendars now! And I think they should. :poke:
 
I could go for this idea, beats the other type you get "free" from some places, add some tips and nice car shots and your set!
 
That would be great! Maybe use members cars after a fresh detail and list all of the products they used on them that you can get at Autogeek.

Of course if you need a nice Cobra, I would gladly volunteer mine and drive to Stuart for a shoot! LOL
 
People still use calendars? I haven't looked at one since cell phones came out with them.

I suspect if you wanted it personalized like that, you would pay more, as should be expected. :xyxthumbs:

I still pick them up to use on the wall -- it's easier to glance at that than get into my phone unless I need to check what appointments I have scheduled.


I think MP Cobra Fan is on to something though. We could hold a calendar contest here on the forum and vote different vehicles for each month, then AG could get them printed up to sell for the year. With a large enough run I doubt the cost would be all that prohibitive.

OK, I gotcha now. I thought MP was talking about something like sending in a bunch of your own pictures to put on it, but I see what you're saying. I kinda like that idea. I personally would like several calendars to choose from though. :xyxthumbs:
 
Yeah shiny, that is what I was talking about. It would showcase the products available and show what they can do. They could even pick one of those products from each detail ti feature each month and make it a monthly special for purchase.

Just thoughts.
 
Shane, maybe one that featured members cars, one that featured employees vehicles or the cars they have detailed, and another that simply featured products.
 
Have some layouts something like these, but add a product list to it.

Sorry, I like doing stuff like this.

Yeah, that would require AG employees to actually clean up their cars, wouldn't it? :props: I'd like to see Dwayne's Civic, Jason's Tundra, Meghan's 300, Mike's "Big Red", Harvey, Max's Vette, Jeff's Mustang, John's Mazda, and Matt's S2000. I know I'm probably forgetting somebody's car, but those ones for sure.

But this also creates a dilemma.

What should each months photo depict?


  • Autogeek Products?
  • Autogeek Staff?
  • Detailing Before & After?
  • Cars & Trucks?

I'd definitely purchase a calendar and I like the idea of doing the forum members cars and voting on it. Adds that personal touch. Or maybe it could be pictures of cars and AG products.

I actually have a couple calendars up around my house. I do use my phone, but it's nice to have something to reference. I have one in my kitchen and one in my office.
 
Anyway it can be done it's a great idea for next year! :iagree:
