Whats up guys, just stopping by and saying hello again from Ft. Eustis Virginia. It feels good to be back, I just finished basic trainning with the Army. Another 4 months of Avionics trainning awaits.

So what new products have come out lately for 2013? Ive been out of the detailing game since April, and probably wont be detailing again until next year. It sucks not having my car to detail, but serving my country is my #1 priority right now.

I wont log on AGO nearly as much as I used to, but I'll be sure to try to keep up with the latest products & friends I've made here. All my detail stuff is in storage, I tried to convince the wife to send me my DA to polish some swirls I found in my barracks locker, and then she hung up XD. Good times.
 
Hey! Missed you around here! DP just announced some pretty big news.

At this point, pretty much everyone and their mother has a coating on the market :D

Nano skin sponges came out which are pretty nice, Rupes is taking off, and some other new things too.

Congrats on finishing basic training!
 
coatings are becoming more plentiful and our own DP line appears to be offering some new and HOT products !!

Roshan! Whats up dude!! Thanks man. I was still here when the Rupes craze started, heck that'll be the first thing on my shopping list when I get back in the game. Ever since Marc bought one, Im convinced to get one especially when I start my side jobs again. LoL so are you saying my mother has come up with a coating as well hmmm o_O. Glad your still around man, your a great resource.

Yeah DP just announced some coatings... They have 3 types of coatings - for paint, wheel and glass.

DP also released some prepping polish for the coatings. This polish doesn't require you to do an IPA or eraser wipe down before the coating application. They also came out with a bug remover.

AG started selling some new lines such as Scholls concepts and Autofinesse. PBMG also created a new line for boats named Marine 31.

Meguiar's also came out with 2 new products. The first one is called rinse free wash and wax. Don't let the name deceive you. It's mainly a concentrated version of Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere. You can use it for rinseless but it's very expensive for that purpose. They also came out with non-acid wheel and tire cleaner. This is pretty much the bulk version of their consumer all wheel and tire cleaner in the pink bottle. You can dilute it too.

They said that the "wax" or the polymer protection left behind is the best in the industry. They said it leaves ONRWW behind in the dust. That's what makes it expensive. But IMO, they shouldn't have named the product rinse-free because I doubt anyone will use it for that purpose at the 4:1 ratio. It's just too expensive. For waterless though, that's a different story.
 
More important than keeping up with detailing, is paying close attention to your military training it can save your and someone else life. Avionics is good field to study, learn it well.

Whats up Marc! Looks like DP is gainning some good ground. What do you think the new Megs product stands compared to UWW? You gave me a sample of it months ago, I never had the chance to try it out since I was getting ready to leave.

Whats up dude. Damn VA's weather is ridiculous. Its so Humid here, cant beat good ol California weather. I wont have a day off for a while, at least not able to leave the base. Well see!
