I dont think UP was suppose to be a tire dressing as it forms a hard layer of protection that can micro crack on tires because of flexing. Pretty sure it was meant to be used on hard surfaces only...but I could be wrong on that just remember what I read on MOL.
I saw Rasky's review on MOL where he tested it on tires with good results, so I decided to try it for myself. I've driven probably 60 miles so far with no sling, cracking, etc...
It is safe for use on tires and I have never heard anything about it creating a hard layer of protection, let alone any type of cracking. As Matt also found it leaves a very nice matte finish that is dry to the touch, sling should definitely not be an issue when used on tires.
