I was getting my TSX serviced and the dealer really liked the condition of my car and with the low miles on my TSX I got a really good deal on the trade in plus negotiated the price down on a new TL.

This weekend the car will get a full blackfire makeover in and out. Also removing the pin stripes and door moldings.

So here she is 2013 Acura TL AWD with Tech Package.

So what BF LSP would you all like to see on this car?

Sweet car, sweet info/entertainment system, what's it packing connectivity wise?

Oh yeah btw, BFWD + BlackICE combo please. Also, seal that interior up and post pics, keep it looking as OEM as possible, it looks very comfortable in there!

One more thing, I can hook you up with a screen protector for your screen if you want, help reduce some finger print marks.

Its has the iphone/ipod, bluetooth streaming, and built in HDD to burn music to....and lots of speaker too :dblthumb2:

I was thinking of BFCS but leaning towards BFWD now. The Interior I am going with BF interior protectant and leather conditioner.

The screen isnt touch, its controlled by the knob on the center console.

Sweet and congrats on the new ride!
As a fellow 4G TL owner, I can say that the torque vectoring of the SH-AWD is just awesome.

Man its just amazing!!! I had the 2nd gen TL for 13 years(still do). Then bought a CPO v6TSX last year and wasnt that happy with the handling. The handling on this car is amazing for a fullsize car.

To be honest with you, I wasn't too thrilled about the styling on this car. But its one of those cars that because of its performance, the styling takes a second seat. The more I drive it, the better it looks. :xyxthumbs:

Nice car but I dont see a BMW pictured. Lol. J/J.

Congrats on the pick up. What color is it?

haha yea, trust me I wanted to get a 535i but with the same options its pushing the price beyond 60k.

The color is Graphite Luster.

Couple of pics from yesterday. Got the pinstripes off and the side moldings. Washed with CG citrus clean, and topped with Blackfire Polymer spray.

That area along the door right above the door handle is pretty tough place to buff because of the size and curve. Goes without saying but try not to scratch that area.

I just received my 3" BP and pad just for that area.

cnograts on the new car, I also have a 4g TL 2012.

I dont know about handeling, its ok i suppose, the car is a brick at 3,900lbs and yours being AWD is probably around 4100lbs. I guess im Used to sportier cars lol. The acceleration is very nice to have for the daily tho and the new 6 speed transmission is nice on the highway.

Either way in my experience the clear is on the soft side first car I owned which had INSANE marring from claying. So work on it with extra care. ;)

congrats on the upgrade. Tl's are very nice.
Thanks

Yea I have the 4 inch pads that I will be using for that area.

Thank!
I love the heavy feeling of the car, especially compared to the TSX.
The handling is much improved on the 4wd over the 2wd TL too. Overall I am happy with the car. It will hold me off till the TLX comes out:D

I didnt realize how bad the swirls where on this paint till I washed, decon, and clayed. For a brand new car it makes me question the dealerships wash techniques.

Well here is some pics of the exterior, I will get some good interior pics tomorrow.

Since I am moving back to FL soon I took most of my detail supplies back and used what I had here.

First I applied BF TPnS with green pad, then I applied a coat of BFWD. Let the car sit overnight and applied a coat of BFBI and managed to drop my jar of BFBI, and cracked the pot and lost a good chunk of it.
Wheels and tires cleaned with Blackfire Eclipse tire cleaner then the tires got 2 coats of the eclipse tire gel and wheels got BFCS.

Still swirled but paint does a good job of hiding them.
