More later, have to catch a taxi to the show...

:)

Right on Mike.

Was hoping for a new Flex.

Lots of people were and are and it's not like I haven't shared this topic with Flex in the past...

Secret meeting with the Flex Engineers!

How about a video?

It's on the to-do list. I'll check with Yancy about his schedule for next Thursday night, might be able to do a live broadcast.

How much are those going to sell for Mike?

I haven't heard yet, that's more Nick's department...

The wait to order one is killing md

I need it...

What's interesting is how many people come by our booth that want to test out the Rupes Duetto and the Flex 3401, keeps me busy all day, basically scratching up our demo panel and then letting people test out both machines to remove the scratches.

I really like both the new Rupes polishers. I also really like the new Rupes swirl finder light.

:D

That IS interesting. Not the comparison I'd think to do. Since the Duetto is presumably much less costly than the Flex (and the Rupes 15 and 21) I guess the thinking is that if the Duetto comes pretty close to the 3401 performance, no point parting with the extra cash for the 3401.

On the swirl finder light, more info please. Is this the smallish rechargeable light with 20 LEDs?

The 75E is listed for pre-order at Cooperider's website. The only offering at this moment is a Deluxe Edition kit with two polishes and 4 pads. Obviously I can't link to it, but I am mentioning it because it has a price listed. $450.
Four hundred fifty.

The duetto 12 in a full kit is $499 there.
I imagine AG will do better than this on prices and options other than kits.

I checked that out. Yikes !!! $450 for a 3" polisher ??? It says they are releasing it as a kit only, not selling individual machines. I was guessing at maybe half that amount just for a machine. Umm, the Griots 6" is still working fine with a 3" plate.

Ouch, that seems awfully high for machines that look to be in the GG range. For that I'll stick with my LHR 15 and PC with a 3" backing plate. They can keep the deluxe items.

No kidding. I was interested in buying one of the new machines. "Was" being the operative word.

I originally guess-timated the Mini, alone, would be ~$250.00
x = ~price of RUPES LHR 75E MINI

140/350 = 100/x
140x = 35,000
x = 250

~$250.00 before any SEMA/VIP/etc. discounts (if any) are taken into consideration.

Bob

If it came with the mf pads and not the foam I would consider it but that's just so steep

A $100.00 for a canvas bag, not me. And I got my apron for free from AG. I agree with the rest of you guys.

I'm sure AG will take care of all us Forum members and loyal customers, they always do.

Maybe I can get a discount because I bought a Rupes Kit from AG and they forgot the apron. I ain't putting on no apron. What am I, a lady?

I'm probably too fat for it anyways.

Hey, even Mike wears an apron from time to time :cool:
Mine's still in the bag heheheehehe

That's different. He's a RockStar. It's like when guys in rock bands wear all kinds of make up and scarves. Think Aerosmith. They can pull it off.

Me in my garage? I would feel like a DB.
