I finally got a chance to try out my new Rupes Mini on my 2006 Sienna’s headlamps.

Compounded with Buff and Shine Uro-fiber cutting pads and Menzerna FG400.

Polished with Rupes yellow pad and Menzerna SF3500.

This is my first polisher with the on-off switch and the Porter Cable style body. I honestly thought I would dislike the style as I had always used rotary or Rupes 15 style with trigger and rotary style body. But I think the on/switch is easier to use and more controllable. I wish I would have bought the Mini much sooner.

Thanks Eldorado2k for the suggestion to use Tapatalk. Wow, that is too easy. I’m going to be posting a lot more photos now:)

Nice work!

Also got a mini polisher and will try out polishing headlights. Seems to be the right size to work on them. Have a pair of really neglected ones that I will be testing to wet sanding with the mini if necessary. Looking forward to see how it works with compound and polish first.
