Yes we took an evolutionary approach with the 21 & 15. The Mark II tools have been in development for quite a long time (I first saw the concept almost 1 year ago and the engineers have been at work quite a bit longer).
In fact I got my first Mark II prototype at Autogeek's Detail Fest in my hotel room, 007 style...![]()
However there may still be a revolution happening
:dblthumb2:
This is why get a little chuckle at the "Oh... this is a response to....." comments. When I came onboard in August this initiative was already well on its way. Engineering had been working on this for a long time, much longer than anyone will probably ever know.
Pioneering the market as RUPES has, the work on the next version starts almost immediately after the current one is released, so this is certainly not a response to anything. The MKII would have rolled out regardless of what else entered the market at any point. Its driven more by market feedback than anything else. RUPES listens to its customers and reacts to that feedback, b/c ultimately that's what matters most.
You guys sure do know how to tease us!
I'm not spending anymore money till after Sema thats for sure!
The weeks leading up to SEMA are a good time to hide your credit cards from yourself... and the weeks after are a time to start saving up for new toys
