New Rupes Swirl Finder Pen Light

Marco shared this with me at our booth, I had just used a wool pad on our black demo panel so I had a real world example of paint to test the pen out and it works great.

I've offered to undertake the heavy burden of transporting this back to Florida so he wouldn't have to carry it all the way back to Italy but so far no luck...

Very nice with Brinkman not being available right now.

Why would he show you something like that (especially @ SEMA) and not have one to offer?

Okay I'm gonna ask the dumb question... what does this do that an ordinary pen light doesn't do?

Most all the companies show items that will not launch till January or even later. SEMA happens once a year, so you have to show your new stuff whether you want to launch or not. Otherwise you wait a whole year. Meguiars is a good example, they show new stuff at SEMA and it is usually available in January of the next year. SEMA is not a show for retail selling, it's for vendors to get with other vendors in the industry.

ShineTime!! You're back!!

... I've been handing out your info for people interested in CQuartz Finest in the St. Louis area. Hopefully they'll actually follow up with you at some point if they haven't already!

That is one of the WORST parts of Auto Shows and Tech Shows. (Even though I still love them). Demo cool, awesome new products that won't come out for months or that we'll never see!

2 or 3 years ago MSI(?) demoed an awesome thunderbolt based external graphics card adapter for Apple laptops. For those of us who prefer the smaller 13" platform it seemed like a dream come true as we could get desktop GPU performance out of our little machines when needed. I'm still waiting! I'm in line to buy it! I want one! It'll probably never come out though. Like the smartphone I saw at a tech show a decade ago that ran Windows XP.

Okay, so a pen light is not exactly the end of the world if that never comes out.. BUT... I'm sure there is a lot of cool stuff at SEMA that we will NEVER see in production.
