New Rupes Swirl Finder Pen Light

They must really have it hidden because I can't find it anywhere.

Bill,

I went onto Autogeek and searched on "Flex swirlfinder flashlight" and it came up right away. Here is the info from my order for the light.

1 FLEX-993100 - FLEX Swirl Finder Light 39.99

It obviously isn't cheap - but it works which is all I could ask for!

Can you tell me what is the Lumen rating on the Flex light???

I can't. However, I seem to recollect there was a thread here on Autogeek when the Flex light first came out in which people were discussing lumens and all sorts of opinions about it were expressed. I couldn't make head or tail of who "won" that discussion (i.e. whether it would work or not) and I decided to buy one to see. I have 3 white vehicles and one silver vehicle (also a dark blue, but that is a different matter). The Flex light really let me see what the condition of the light colored paint was (it was more or less obvious on the blue one<g>).

I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. I have a lot of flashlight type products here and I really didn't expect this one to be more effective than others, but it was even though it is far from the brightest. The light's objective lens is a magnifier which may have something to do with it.
