I don't think you understand Jarred's issue... He's just waiting on the contractors to finish the work so he can move into the shop.

And some of us have no problems in selling, it's finding quality employees and getting the work done that some of us have issues with haha. I'm booked out 2 weeks in December/January in Oregon where it rains every day and average temps of 30-45 degrees.

I agree that's selling Easy to sell in a nice climate but We're your at it forces you to adapt for sure

Re: New Shop...Need Advice (Pics!!)

So, it's finally almost here!! I've been told that I should hopefully be able to start moving stuff in this weekend and start working in it next week. Im the MAN Doing almost nothing but interior details outside in 30 degree weather is wearing on me so I can't wait. I got to stop by this morning and take a look at how it's coming along and while they've still got a little to do, I'm getting excited. A few quick shots that I took with my phone.

From the back of the shop, the door is to the small office:

A lot of work ahead and it might be slower than planned due to so many missed work days this winter because of not having the shop, but I'm super stoked Im the MAN I'll continue to post as I go along.

I'm so excited for you! And a tad bit jealous of the wonderful layout. Best of wishes to you.

I hope it works out for you as I am sure it will. Shop looks like a real winner. Most of the good recommendations have been covered. I just have 2 things to add. Might want to think about protection for your drywall if you will be using a pressure washer inside. Also maybe look at a RO/DI or DI system now that you are in a fixed location. I have a RO/DI system and 110 gallon holding tank in my garage bay that I use for filling buckets, diluting products, rinses and other things. I may be crazy but RO/DI water seems to pull dirt out of MF and mitts better than hard water, and I am sure if you were doing it mobile you probably already have a holding tank.
