I took a gamble and got a bigger shop.
It's in a perfect location on main street in our little town.
It use to be an old gas station in the early 50s and 60's so most of the locals know exactly where its at!
It has 2 main bays with a smaller 3rd bay on the side where I do the motorcycle detailing
Also has a small office area and storage room

So far.just by moving here my appointments have doubled from doing them out of my garage!

Very nice man, not to big and not to small. I like it! Are you going to put down some Epoxy for those floors?

That is a very nice shop! Congrats!

I'm not sure if I'm going to do epoxy or floor tiles... I have to have some drains re routed first so after that ill do somethin with them

Looks cool I wish I could have a little shop to expand into. Good luck

Congratulations on your new shop. The location and layout are perfect.

Best of luck.

Rick

Whoops. Double post. Sorry guys.

Congratulation on the new shop. Gambling and succeeded equals success. You pulled the trigger and its working. Good job and hard work pays off.

love the building.
I would deck it out in old auto signs!!!
Keep the nostalgia alive!Checkered RaceDeck tiles would look sweet

If you want to save some money for energy costs i would do a couple of things

Buy led lighting
add isulation to parts and better weatherstripping
make sure windows and doors are airtight

First of all, congrats on the new shop.:props: "Overhead" I hate that word. Now you have to work for a week or two for free. When the weather is bad and everyone cancels their appointment the clock on the rent and insurance doesn't stop. Even with mild winters, it does rain. You just need to do volume work. Good luck to you.:xyxthumbs:

Congratulations on your new shop! The entrepreneurial spirit at work!!
