NEW! Sonus Detailing Products

I'd like to try some of their Engine Dressing. I bought some UTTG but I seem weary of using it under my hood where no one looks but me since it's like $35 a bottle.

The UTTG says up to 500 Degrees
The Sonus up to 280 Degrees

But the Sonus says you can spray and walk away.
The UTTG of course is either applied with an applicator and walk away or apply with applicator and buff depending on the surface.

Therefore my plan is to use both in the longer term. I am going to try the Sonus spray and walk and hopefully it will work well like that! Then I can use the Sonus for all the hard to reach places in the engine, wheel wells, and undercarriage. Its just the thing that I'm missing from my arsenal. Thanks Jim!! If all goes well and I like it... now I'll be able to buy it here at AG.

For those that don't realize it Sonus is a line of Premium Finish Care who also bring us Ultima and Four Star Products!! Polycharger is your friend guys!

I did not know this. Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

I might have to try some polycharger with Souverän.

I may use uttg then lol. Does it last as long as everyone says? I bought it for engine and tonneau cover. I have pb trim restorer for trim. For 10 bucks the sonus is worth trying though!

Oh, remember you can put it on thin as well... And depending on the surface you do or don't buff it. metal and surfaces that it doesn't absorb into get buffed after about 20 minutes.
Yes, it really lasts as long as everyone says. Did you see this: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/29361-review-poorboy-s-world-trim-restorer.html... Keep your eye on the UTTG

Sonus: Your right, 10$ seems like a great deal! I know I'll like it but if I could actually spray it on things I cant reach and it looks like I want to then I will love it.

Yea I've bought the uttg already, but not using it till spring. I've used the poorboys on trim during the summer and like it for trim. I like the smell especially lol

Cool! I love the smell as well. I just realized I dragged this off topic. Sorry guys :(

:hijacked: At least I got to use that smiley

That was my fault. I have a tendency to change topics haha. Anyways, back to sonus. Can anyone vouch for any of their products as a "go to" product?

Jim has vouched for a couple products. Scott vouched for the Acrylic spray. I used their clay once but it was a different clay that they don't have anymore. It was great. I loved the towels I got from them. I can't vouch for any Sonus chemical yet personally but I haven't been disapointed by any of the Premium Finish Care lines. I'll be starting to play with the Sonus Trim and Motor Kote tommorrow. I've read a bunch of great things about a lot of their products though.

There original cockpit cleaner was a nice interior dash cleaner/protectant too. I used it alot prior to Einszett Cockpit Premium.

Wow, what a great addition to the AG lineup!

Oh jeez...just what I needed! Something new to try...I don't have enough on my wish list...lol.

You keep reading my mind!

I've never tried any of this brand of product so I have no idea how they compare to the other products available through Autogeek. I'm looking forward to hearing from someone who has....:props:

Looking forward to see some reviews on what I hear to be great products. Maybe some BOGOs

I have been using Sonus products for years. Here are some of my favs.

Carnuaba Spritz
Total Eclipse
Green Clay

The only product I did not like was the Motor Kote. I could never get the hang of this product and it left ugly white splotches on my engine bay.

Bobby, I have a few Sonus products that stand out. The Trim & motor Coat is a very nice product. Spray on & Walk away on motors. Chrome Polish and Chrome & Alumimum Sealant is very good. It has POlycharger in it and Im a huge fan. Interior Protectant is good but so are many others. I have the Car Wash and the Tire Dressing but havent tried them yet. The guys who make Sonus also make Ultima. I havent tried their polishes but they have a few!

The sprayer on the Motor Coat is a trigger and output is too high. Use a pump sprayer to mist and it works great! Dont know why Sonus hasnt figured this out yet!
