Hi everybody! My name is Kevin and I am an addict, its been several days since I've used Rupes...and boy do I miss it, my hands are lightly vibrating in anticipation:buffing:
New to the forums and working to go pro here in central New Jersey, Monmouth county area. This looks like an awesome site, full of information and willingness to share, Thank you all.

Cool, I've been doing life in Marlboro, lol. I'm guessing your a bit of a Bruce fan :props:...ever get a chance to see him at the Stone Pony?

I went to Marlboro High for about a month while living in a foster home in Colts Neck in the late 70`s.Bruce is the largest land owner in that city.My younger Brother owns a rest. that caterers to the band when they are in town.My Nephew(Quincy Mumford)opened for Bruce recently with Bruce playing my Nephew`s guitar for a part of the show. My Nephew headlines at the Pony when he`s in town.Love Jersey(summertime)and will be up there in Oct.I saw Bruce many times in the 70`s and 80`s at the Pony and private settings.I lived by myself in a rooming house next door to him in 1975 when I was 15 and parked my 57 Chevy next to his 57 in a common parking area.I swore that one day I would build a tribute car to the song"BORN TO RUN" and get Bruce to sign the trunk lid.The build is in progress.(I know he`s a BAMA lover but no one`s perfect).Once again Welcome to AG.Good people here and always willing to help.

That's an awesome story! My older brother lives in Colts Neck and was a Bruce fan back in the day. Remember him telling me about shows he seen at the Pony. I was a decade or so too late, and although I like his older stuff, I drifted more towards the metal scene. That's cool as hell about your nephew. I would love to see build pics of your '57. Ha, yea, too bad he's a bama lover...guess everyone who is has their reasons.
