Good afternoon,

Found this web sight by accident, was watching Chasing Classic Cars and there was a demo on a vehicle and that was followed up by providing the web sight name and as they say the rest is history.

A little history:

  1. Older than dirt, 69 on 06/26/13.
  2. Corvette person, have owned 5, current corvette is:
    • 2013 427 Convertible Collector Edition.
    • Cyber Gray metallic
    • Black top, two tone interior.
    • Ordered it last year and picked it up, actually watched it arrive via carrier and drove it out of the dealership in July of 2012.
  3. Currently have 5,800 miles on it, stored during the winter months here in Eagle, Idaho, something about freezing weather and snow.
    • First trip was in August of last year, attended my 50th High School reunion in Pocatello, Idaho. Made it through the reunion was coming back to Eagle, was about halfway through my drive home and hung a right and ended up in Glacier National Park, Montana.
    • Met my sister and her husband, they have my old 2000 Nassau blue convertible and we spent 7 nights in Kanab, Utah, visited the parks, then 6 nights in Flagstaff, Arizona to see the North and South rim of the Grand Canyon, now you understand why over 5,000 miles.
  4. I'm retired, living in Eagle, Idaho and enjoying life.
I was directed to a posting from Ray, he responded to my e-mail to Autogeekonline and enjoyed reading the article, posted back in March 2006 by Scott and am now searching for the same products to see if I can ensure "Lady" looks her best.

That is about it for now.

Hi Otto,

Great introduction thread...

That was me on Chasing Classic Cars, here's three of the cars I worked on while I was at Wayne's shop...

Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic Cars gets a visit from Ivan Karstuff and Autogeek!

1957 Corvette - NCRS Gold Certified
This is a NCRS Gold Certified 1957 Corvette that is certified to be 95% to 100% restored to "Typical Factory Production". While I was at Wayne's shop I also worked with Wayne's team on how to work on classics like this...

Thank you Mike for introducing yourself, and yes it was you.

You will be happy to know, I have added to the cash flow so you may get an extra buck or two for updating how to articles.

If you can look, my order is out there, trying to mimic Scott's information he posted back originally in March of 2006 I believe.

Otto

Welcome Otto, from a former '62 owner who is just a few years younger.

Welcome Otto and you said you were in Kanab? Did you see Uncle Rico cruizin' around in his conversion van? How about Kip and Napolean, or maybe Pedro was doing some sweet jumps on his bike!

Glad your a Corvette guy...me too except I don't own one, LOL!
