New to Detailing...a little advice

Thank you everyone for the comments. I am trying to make sure I have plenty of options on hand to get the proper finish. It sounds like I definitely need some more pads and maybe some more options for a finer finish.

I thought if I cleaned my pads on the fly I could get through a detail with maybe only 2 pads Max.....is that not the case? Can I clean the pads fully and use them during the detail (they will not dry fully)?

I heard uno could be used for heavier cuts all the way to finishing....just depended on what pad you were using. Is this not true, or at least not a good option?

If I start with the Tangerine and the M205 and it does the job, what would be a good product to use after to give it a finer finish? and with which pad? I am not sure if my paint is hard or soft. If I ask 10 people 5 will say hard and 5 say soft....read the comments so far? How can I tell?
