Hello guys,

I'm finally saved up some money and I'm considering of buying these products:

- White/Yellow ShMITT Wash Mitt
- Poorboy's SS&S
- DP Universal Detailing Clay & Lube Combo
- DP Max Wax
- DP Tire & Wheel Combo
- Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax (Wolfgang DGPS was too expensive)

I need a product for polishing and I heard that XMT 360 is for machine applications only.

Can you recommend me any other products I might consider buying? Thanks

You will love the shmitt and poorboy's SS&S. There is a new mitt coming out by Lake Country though, and there's nice reviews. Have you been considering that? I wanna try it out in the near future. As for hand polishing products, I don't know what to recommend. I haven't done any polishing, but I know your arm will be falling off when ur done :D. Maybe you can get Pinnacle Paint Cleanser, it's a chemical cleaner instead of an abrasive cleaner.

Xmt360 can be used by hand also, I personally find Vanilla Moose Glaze best for hand polishing. Has alot of fillers to hide what the hand cannot remove.

do you recommend to use Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax for sealant after Max Wax?

link to the Vanilla Moose Glaze? :)

If its not for swirl removal, Duragloss 101 and 105 is great by hand.

AG dont carry ClearKote (van moose) you have too google it i guess.

P21s polishing soap for uncoated metal is my tip

there is no swirls on the car yet, so i might try cheap DG stuff :)

on a side note... what can i use to remove orange break dust from my rotors? :\ i want to make sure i get all of the needed products from AG so i can get my car really clean.

Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax is a booster used after wash, got some protection, but i dont know how well. But by the pics poste here it gives a great look.

DuraGloss aquawax is also great

DuraGloss is bling for the bucks, im hooked on that brand.

If you dont have swirls i would go for the 101/105 combo and Aquawax.

P21s wheel gel is the one, not cheap but imo the best (orange brake dust?)

Pinnacle Souveran liquid spray wax isnt a sealant. And if it was, then it shouldnt be put on top of a Carnauba. When are you getting the "orange brake dust"?

Have you been using an OTC wheel cleaner? Many of them are acidic or base. The acid reacts with fine metal particals in the break dust. The orange is actually rust. Start using a wheel cleaner that's ph balanced and it will go away. DP Gel or P21S are good.

thanks! and i never used any wheel cleaners... only meguirs hot rimz for tires.

With the DG 101 and 105 you are well protected, some Pinnacle LS over that works great and the Liquid S wax 4 touch ups later. .

If not, the AquaWax also protects the paint and gives a great look.
