New to forum & PC 7424 world

Greetings! I posted my first questions to the general auto detailing forum, so hopefully someone will have advise & experience for me.

I've been maintaining my BMWs by hand for the past 20+ years, and hope the polisher will save me time and improve my results. The number of pads, polishes & products is overwhelming!

I've been using the tan-bottled Meguiar's & 3M products to polish, remove swirls & glaze by hand. I'm still in the carnauba world, using Zymol, #26, and P21S.

My PC came with Griot polishes 1/2/3 & pads, as well as some Edge pads. I'll practice on the Arktisblau E30 that has been my wife's daily driver / kid hauler, and as I gain experience & confidence move on to her like-new Fern green E46 328i, and my daily driver (lives outside) Delphin E28 535i. My baby is a Chamonix (single-stage white) '74 2002tii in great shape, but I hope to get the surfaces like glass!

I've already learned so much from past posts and how-to videos. I hope I can contribute to the forum!

If you have access to a older or used car, use that as practice with your PC 7424 ( by the way, great choice) until you get used to it and to know the machine, its quite simply put a great machine, as for overwhelming ( pads and so forth( Lake Country, I have several pads of each color, Yellow,Orange and so on) as for Waxes and Polishes,Compounds and Sealants, there are allot of them out there, Here are some that I know from experince that are fantastic and you cannot go wrong with, Pinnacle products,Wolfgang and some of Meguiars products ( kinda a hit and miss) but all in all, a great product too !!
