Hey guys, my name is Cody and I have been detailing as a business for almost a year, business name is Fresh Rides Automotive Detailing out of Central Wisconsin.

This seems like a pretty organized forum with lots of nice people, I can't wait to chat with you all an give my input on ideas and receive input.

I currently am in the process of getting my own shop and just got my LLC all sorted out tonight, along with working on becoming a WeatherTech dealer.

I still work full time for the Canadian National Railroad in Central Wisconsin, but I find it hard to take pride in the work I do there. I hope one day I can be a full time detailer and open up multiple locations.

My favorite part about detailing is paint correction. I use Menzerna 400 for correcting with a Meguiars Microfiber pad. Polish with Menzerna 3000, or 1-step with HDSPEED.

Recent picture with using HDSPEED just because I was actually mildly impressed.

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum.👋🏼
What kind of polisher do you own? And what kind of pad did you use on that 50/50? Looks great.👍🏽

Welcome to AGO. :xyxthumbs:

Very nice 50/50 Cody, best of luck with the shop, keep us up to date.

I have the Torq 10fx, and the Griots Garage Polisher.

I love the Griots for what it is, and in terms of actual performance I like my Griots more than my Torq (more OPM's)

I love the Torq because it's easy to use and very ergonomic. It just doesn't spin fast enough to cut very hard.

I use the Mequiars MF pads mostly, clog up kind of fast but I have found to love them after using Hexlogic's for a while. Still finding what pads work best, all I know is I won't leave Menzerna haha!

I will be ordering the Flex 3401 VRG within the coming months, which I'll then use my Griots for my 3" backing plate instead of always swapping them, and then use the Torq for lighter polishing and applying wax.

Welcome to AGO!!! Menzerna stuff is the BOMB!!! Much success to your business! You will ROCK!!

. How different of a role is a senior front-end developer for someone that is mid-level,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Welcome to Autogeek. The Flex 401 is a great machine. I got the HD version with the 25' cord and love it.
