New to the forums, my e34

That's one of the cleanest and sharpest e34's I've ever seen:cheers:, almost bought an E39 M5 awhile ago, though I still love the old e34 M5's...they were raw and fun, that inline 6 sounded so mean and vocal compared the tinny sound of the e46 M3 inline 6. Who knows, might still pick up an e34 M5 to have around, such a classic.

Can't wait though for full specs on the 09' CTS-V, going to be wicked ccompared to the imports, already love the way the current V drives....so sharp handling.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, i'll probably load up my shoping cart this weekend and start reading everything on here as soon as i find time ;)

Let me guess.. you have a 540i ?

If you're saying E46 vs. the M328i aka M3 in US then yes, it will kill it... on the other hand, if you consider the M3 we were robbed of, the Euro version aka the real M3... think again

Either way, I was speaking of looks and feel, not power... E46 M is a great car with a lot of power, but is a fat ####### and feels nothing like the E36 and feels even worse than E30... I like cars that feel more connected to the road over powerful cars, but to each his own I gues...

lol i have a 528.... i thought you were in the US, guess that's why you didn't mention the e46.

(e30 is god's chariot)

I am in the US... I just felt like you like BMW for the wrong reasons haha... I would rather have a US E36 M3 than E46 M3.. I've driven both numerous times and even my 328 feels better than the E46 M3 at times, just because of a bulky feeling in the E46... it's all subjective I guess, idk

E30 M3 is by far the #1 driver's car I've ever been in, BMW or other

E30 M3 is my favorite. Classic.

What year is your E34?

See JBs.. a guy with an E46 M3 said that... you can't argue with me anymore :p

We all just need a :grouphug:... at the end of the day, we are driving the best make in the world, regardless of which model (as long as it's not Bangle's idiotic design, but let's not get into that here :D)

it's a 1992 w/ 153k on it, not daily driven but when its out it gets driven like it was ment to be driven :)

I have to pay respects to the E36 since its the basis of the E46, but I just feel that the car is very incompetent compared to the E30 and the E46.

The E46 is heavy, but its a much more balanced car, and a hell of a lot more stable at 150MPH+
