New truck! 2011 Chevy Tahoe Z71 Black Coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

That's a very nice looking SUV now . Nice job but that silver front bumper piece would be gone if it were mine. I'd have that sprayed black to match the bumper ends. They may have some chips anyway so I would get the whole front bumper painted. JMHO. But still nice looking.

How did Wolfgang ceramic coating do through the winter?

Just washed it today and still going strong! Especially on the windshield which I was surprised about. Water still beading up and flying away.

Thanks. I personally like the Z71 front fascia. More aggressive looking to match the off-road package. Some owners do spray or dip the silver section though if the truck is black.

The truck is actually sold. New owner picking it up next weekend and I'm onto a 2013 Audi S4 in Monsoon Grey.

Thanks. It's good to get some real world results from the same area I live. Are you still happy with the coating enough to put it on your new car?

If I still had my 4.5 bay climate controlled garage at home most definitely! My garage now is pretty small to detail in. However I would put it on my new car as well. It's just so easy to apply it's hard not to recommend it.

I am also monitoring the coating on my dads Phantom Black Pearl Audi A6 at home. His has been on for the same time. I'll be home in a few months and will update my detail thread on his car with how the coating is holding up on his car.

4.5 car? I could only dream. I have a 1 car. My wife's car is fine but my truck is another story. It's like a fat guy in a little coat when it's in the garage.

Yeah, we had a barn at our last house so when we built our new house, my dad added his dream garage. I know the feeling now. My Tahoe barely fits in this garage. Luckily my new S4 will fit just fine in my single garage now!

Little update. First time it's rained and not snowed here this year. This is the Wolfgang coating after the Buffalo, NY winter. Still beading nicely on all paint/Windows.

Don't sell the BMW! For a couple days of bad roads, you can work from home, or slap on 4 Blizzaks. It certainly can be and has been done.

Great job detailing!

Unfortunately it's way too late. Been sold since November. It was more me not wanting to expose it to all the salt. It was a low mile, rare optioned, euro delivery car that was one of the cleanest around. I wanted to keep it in the south where it could avoid all the salt.

Getting back into another sports car though. Just picked up a 2013 Monsoon Grey S4 with all the goodies. 19k miles.

Thank you!
