New type of Clay

i remeber someone coming out with a product like this a few years ago...not sure why it's not taking off...seems like a dream claybar...you can drop it...reuse it...and it's easy to hold/use...still wont replace my clay bar :)

OK....to ease the confusion. IT IS NOT CLAY

It is a foam block. On top of the foam block is a thin layer of rubber. Not sure what type of rubber, but it is rubbery.

You do no KNEAD, FOLD, FLIP, or SPANK it..... you just WIPE the rubbery part with an MF, or towel of your choice. All the contaminants are removed.

It is easy to use and does what clay does. If you drop it, just rinse it off in your wash bucket. Dirt will not get stuck to it.

As far as I know, they are not available yet. I was given this to test out.

I will be doing a FULL REVIEW of the product as soon as the weather clears up.

shouldnt you be sending me a sample of this for an independant evaluation?

HAHA , it looks itresting i wonder if it will hold up to its claims

Question? How long will a gallon of Pinnacle lubricant last? I ask because I purchased a gallon of Pinaccle lubericant and a pound (4 bars) of Pinnacle clay.

the clay should last you a very long time if you do just your car...at least 20-30 "sessions" depending on how contaminated...the lube will last a while as well...dilute it and it will last even longer...most lubes can be diluted 1:1 or 2:1 at the very least...per 24 oz spray bottle i can do about 4-5 cars...and i'm pretty genrous with the lube...ymmv...everyone has a different technique/usage

I'd would certianly be interested in your review Chris. It does look like a tool to have in an arsenel of cleaning/detailing products.

Still testing it out. I need to contact my distributor about a few things.

It is most interesting!! Keep us posted!!
So thus far, you prefer it over clay, or is the verdict still out? Not having to knead it and wiping it off instead seems pretty cool to me, provided that really does remove the contaminents on the clay/rubber stuff-you know what I mean.
