New use for opti-coat 2.0 Can I Opti-Coat a computer case ?

Hi guys, although it may seems off topic or even funny, I'm pretty serious about it.
I just bought a Corsair 600T white case: Special Edition White Graphite Seriesâ„¢ 600T Mid-Tower Case - Graphite Series - Cases

And although corsair said it won't get yellow over time, I don't want to take a chance on that, so I want to use my spare opti-coat 2.0 on it.... And also I don't want to see it get scratched over time just from taking some dust off (like most black piano designs do).

This case is basically metal painted white parts, white plastic (not the 100% flat texture type), black piano plastics and black paint over metal on the interior.... and some metal mesh painted in black.

Question is: Can I opti-coat it ?
Will opti-coat have any kind of reaction with the white plastic, making it getting yellow ?

It would be really great to hear from Chris and other guys that might know that....

BTW, I just saw that the plastics on it is a ABS plastic

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I did a Rimowa suitcase with it. Aside from the scratch protection, you get great water beading...

I actually thought about mac users too....

One of the best things of doing it I guess is... it will hardly get dirty again! "=]

I actually applied it to my notebook, but it's black.... I can't see any harm from it, but I don't think the product really sticky to it as I haven't done any surface prep before and it doesn't seems to be beading after all.... or maybe the plastic being porous, we have to use more of it and multiple layers....

I've applied several coats of Ultima Paint Guard Plus to my little piano black laptop and it's still looking sharp. No issues with the black plastic at all, behaves just like it was applied to paint.

So, is it safe to assume that the Opti-Coat 2.0 won't stain or make my white plastic yellow or faded ?

I guess it's, right ?

Also what would be the difference to the Pro version ? The Pro coat is much harder than the Opti-Coat 2.0 ?

No staining or fading, it will actually prevent both.

Pro version has a higher concentration, so it will lay down a little thicker coat. It's the same stuff though so it will be the same protection, hardness, etc.

Wouldn't you just hate if your shiny and expensive new case got all swirled up in a matter of days ? LoL..... yeah... optimum with opti-coat definitively has a lot of more markets to explore... :dblthumb2:

I really hate how these black piano tvs, printers and so on gets so ugly just from taking dust off it.... and in the past all computers used to be white, not anymore because nobody wants to have a yellow-brown-dirty computer in a matter of 1 year... but with opti-coat I'm pretty sure we won't have to fear any of these issues...

PS: Maybe after opti coating I can top some DP Max Wax to give my case some extra bling! bling! lol.....
