Discovered a new use for the WG Perfekt Paint Prep....I had some stubborn sealant stains on my black rubber molding. I have tried all types of product to remove the long set in stains without success. Saw my WG Paint Prep on my shelf and thought, why not? Holy cow! This stuff works wonders on removing dried sealant, polishes, and waxes from rubber molding and trim! And it did it with minimal mechanical agitation. I just sprayed a microfiber and applied the Paint Prep heavily to the stained molding. Then, a light rubbing with more product and it was completely removed. I went back and checked my work after everything dried, and no signs of that unslightly white mess! Just another use for those who may already have this sitting on their shelf!

Good to know. Makes sense, the product is made to prep the paint to apply coatings/sealants by removing any leftover polishes, waxes, oils or any residual from products that were used prior to applying the coating/sealants.

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely be using this the next time I detail my car! I, too, have tried everything with no success, and I have a few spots that will be so nice to clean up! ;)
