New (used car) need some advice.

So I just bought a 2000 Dodge Durango, its black the pain is great overall but it does have some rough spots (hazed, scratches).

So my question is I want to use a wax of medium quality I dont feel like I need to go super high quality since this is an SUV and I want to know what you guys think I should use to take away the blemishes and get a nice wax.

I was thinking to use this:

Also the inside needs a freshening up it is leather whats your opinion on what leather stuff to use and overall interior stuff.

Other then that, what is some good tire shine, and car wash the general stuff to get. Im going for a big order right away so I want to get it right the first time.

First of all, congrats on the new car. If you have imperfect areas, wax isn't going to do much. You might need some polishes to remove the scratches and hazing. This will only be possible if you have a buffer (Porter Cable 7424) and a good combo would be Poorboy's SSR 1 and 2.5. After that, a you could also use PoorBoy's EX-P and Poorboy's Natty's Blue as your wax.

If your leather is in bad shape, consider leatherique.

This will renew your leather to become supple and soft again.
If the leather is in good condition, you could use Connolly's for maintaining the leather.

For the rest of the interior, I like Meguiar's wipes because they are so easy to use.

For the tires, I use and reccommend Meguiar's Endurance Gel. Glossy (if you want) and lasts a good amount of time.

Thx, but I do have a buffer, is there a way to get the same kit without that buffer ?

thx a lot for the help, also my leather is in fine condition so ill prolly just get the conditioner thx a lot!
 
There are kits available at different suppliers. Cheap wax will turn out to be a time waster. Wax, even a good one, does not last that long. Buy one of the better ones and you'll do less work and enjoy the look more. Wax is a battle and requires constant maintenance that's why the more experienced detailers are moving away from conventional waxes.
