Hello everyone from Miami (Miami Gardens), I finally have something to post so I'm excited. I've been reading the site every chance I get (2-3 times a day) for about a month now. Wife thinks I'm crazy, and I have really had no luck getting any amazing before and after results to wow her with, yet. 
just bought another e46 2004 325Ci Coupe with SMG and Navigation to replace my totaled one (Oct 11, 2013 R.I.P Baby) I knew this was my chance to do some nice detailing so anyway here is my first attempt.
Tools
PC - 4in interface
Black Wool Pad, orange, and blue foam pads
Rotary ( which scared the hell out of me and will not be using ever again thank god it's a friends)
7in white wool pad
Mountains of MF towels
3D Car Care Products
- they are like right down the street so ... Yeah
- HD Touch
- HD CUT
- HD SPEED
Note: I didn't use clay
last time I tried it on a test car it rubbed off on the paint and would not come off!!!! I will try the clay "bar" and see if that's any better
Sorry the after pictures are dark it took me like 5 hours to wash and do only the back half of my car!
but I did notice a different in the windshields (one I done the front I had not) the rain just wasn't there
The scratched didn't come completely out :/ I stopped using the rotary and wet sanded (3000 grit 3M) so i didn't want to go any further I just switched to the PC after that.
